I think it is fair to say the Gelert Solo is built for speed and not comfort. It is light weight and packs up to almost nothing. This is a good tent for the serious explorers out there who want something that is no thrills and easy to erect in the dark. I was amazed at just how small and lightweight this tent is once its put down. It would comfortably fit on the back of a pannier rack or in a rucksack. The guide ropes and strong frame make this suitable for just about any conditions you will face in the UK. If you are pitching for a week this is not the right model but for the serious explorers this provides everything you need in the smallest of packages.
